The Amuhr Region

The relationship
between dragons
and the races of Telan’Shaara
is predicated on trust
and a willingness to learn from each other.

The sand elves of The Forsaken Sands, also known as the Saan’haru, consider it a sacred duty to protect the old temples and relics scattered throughout the world.

There are moments that even challenge the mightiest of dragons

Throughout the Amahr Region there are secret places where statues, altars and artifacts remain to celebrate the old ways. Discovering such a relic can be a moment of wonder — and can also reveal the deeper magic woven into the world.

The connection between magic and dragons is strong and while some prefer to ride atop the mighty creatures, others find more creative means of travel.

Though the sand elves and the great serpents of The Forsaken Sands share a special bond, it is a mistake to presume that a sand elf, alone in the desert, is defenseless.

Highmorne is said to be the birthplace of the first dragon in all of Telan'Shaara. For countless generations, the Caretakers devoted their lives to raising and protecting the young dragons that hatched among the peaks of the Upper Spine. Yet over the centuries, tradition slowly overshadowed purpose, and duty began to replace understanding. Then, with the birth of a single hatchling, everything changed. What followed would forever alter the bond between dragons and those who cared for them, reshaping the future of Highmorne and the generations that followed.

Dawnspire is one of the great kingdoms of the Amuhr Region, situated in its southern reaches. It is governed by Queen Velaira, sister to the High Queen of Amuhr. To the east, towering mountain ranges form a natural barrier, beyond which lie the endless dunes of the Forsaken Sands. Within the southeastern mountains dwelled the Weavers, an ancient race who believed that by seizing the Crown of Dawnspire they could command the kingdom itself.

What they failed to understand was that the crown was far more than a symbol of royal authority. Its true power did not reside in gold or jewels, but in a legacy far older than the kingdom itself.
